With the QR 7, Audiovector presents a loudspeaker that will thrill any music lover. Designed to deliver an inspiring and invigorating listening experience, it will have you jumping off the couch and dancing along as soon as your favorite song comes on. The new three-way floorstanding speaker, handmade in Denmark, is the new flagship of the legendary QR series. When designing the speaker, meticulous attention was paid to ensuring that the music is transported as authentically as possible into the living room. Whether it's a live recording or a studio album, with the QR 7, the listener is right in the middle of the action instead of just watching from the sidelines. The speaker is based on a proven and highly efficient three-way bass reflex system with two woofers, a midrange driver, and an Air Motion Transformer, which performs at its best with almost any amplifier. A special feature of Audiovector has always been that no “off-the-shelf” drive units are used, but only chassis developed in-house and specially tailored to Audiovector's requirements – and this has been the case for over 40 years, now in its second generation. The drivers are manufactured by a renowned Danish manufacturer according to the strict specifications of Audiovector founder and mastermind Ole Klifoth.These are thoroughly tested in our in-house factory and lovingly assembled by hand. Two powerful woofers with a large linear stroke, an extremely neutral-sounding midrange driver, and the legendary Air Motion Transformer always deliver a neutral sound thanks to the custom-designed crossover, creating an impressive, room-filling dynamic, an open soundstage, and precise placement of instruments and individual voices. With its high efficiency of over 90 dB and a particularly balanced impedance curve, the QR 7 is easy to drive and elicits maximum performance from both transistor and tube amplifiers without the power amplifier reaching its limits prematurely. The simple, state-of-the-art design of the QR 7 blends unobtrusively into a wide variety of living environments. Setting up the speaker is also absolutely straightforward. Since it works according to the downfire principle, it can also be placed close to the wall without any problems.
