The High End Deluxe Phono Cable from Eagle Cable has been specially developed for demanding applications between turntables and amplifiers. The particularly sensitive signals coming directly from the pickup benefit from optimal cable architecture: two parallel, identically constructed copper conductors made of finely lacquered 0.10 mm OFC copper strands transmit even the finest nuances and dynamics without distortion. Each conductor is individually insulated with foamed polyethylene (PE) – this material with microscopic air pockets minimizes the cable's capacitance, thereby protecting the sensitive pickup. This keeps the music signal free, unimpeded, and true to the original.
Two additional PE tubes give the cable mechanics stability and ensure durability in daily use. To ensure that the music signal remains clear even with longer cable lengths, a high-density copper braid effectively protects against electromagnetic interference – background hum and external interference are reliably eliminated. The flexible sheath made of thin PVC, combined with an elegant textile braid, not only offers protection, but also pleasant handling and a high-quality appearance.
Solid full-metal connectors (either RCA or SME) with permanently low contact resistance ensure a secure and low-loss connection to your components. Concentric Copper – precise and uniform/h3>
The concentric copper principle describes the arrangement of copper wires in clearly defined, spiral-shaped layers. This structured stranding ensures uniform contact between all individual wires, thereby minimizing runtime differences in the signal path. The result is improved impulse fidelity and clean, natural sound reproduction. Even the finest details and complex spatial information are preserved, as the signal is transmitted homogeneously and without distortion. The precise conductor structure thus supports unadulterated music reproduction with high transparency.
Less inductance, more sound precision
Inductance describes the property of a conductor to generate a magnetic field when the current changes. This field induces a voltage that counteracts the original signal. High inductance can attenuate high frequencies and mask fine details. High End Deluxe speaker cables counteract this effect with a special multicore design: multiple conductors running in parallel generate magnetic fields that partially cancel each other out. The result is controlled inductance behavior and precise, detailed reproduction—even with complex music.
