The Power Station AC-3502 by in-akustik reliably eliminates disruptive interference from the power grid. At the core of this power distributor is a parallel filter specially developed for audiophile applications, which effectively reduces both line-borne and device-generated noise—without compromising power delivery. Thanks to star-wired internal cabling, it ensures uniform and low-loss power distribution to all connected audio components. As a result, the AC-3502 provides a stable foundation for a soundstage that remains both detailed and dynamic. All internal components are housed in a solid metal chassis, with a black anodized, brushed aluminum front panel that meets the highest aesthetic standards. The rear panel features six meticulously crafted outlets. A central IEC C20 mains input allows for easy cable replacement when needed—for instance, over longer distances. An integrated surge protection system safeguards valuable audio equipment against voltage spikes. All outputs can be conveniently controlled via the easily accessible "Power" button on the front panel.

Er besteht aus mehreren Teilen, welche erst im Laufe der Konfektion zusammengefügt werden. Wie beim Lautsprecherkabel wird zunächst die dünne Lackschicht von den hochreinen Kupferdrähten des „Cross Link Super Speed“-Hohlleiters maschinell entfernt, anschließend der aus Tellurium-Kupfer bestehende Kontakt-Pin des Steckers unter 1,5 Tonnen Druck mit dem Leiter verpresst. Auch die Kontaktierung der Abschirmung ist völlig neuartig: Sie wird jetzt hermetisch dicht verschraubt.

Music is always very dynamic and generates a very impulsive current consumption on integrated amplifiers, power amplifiers or active loudspeakers during playback. These rapidly changing current increases and decreases result in extreme current peaks, which generate strong magnetic fields and interference emissions and lead to power losses at line and transition resistors. However, such current peaks must also be fed to the components without delays and without loss, as any inhibited current flow, regardless of where it occurs within the hi-fi / high-end chain, has a negative impact on the sound. As is known from physics, electrical conductors not only have resistance but also capacitive and inductive properties that disrupt the flow of energy from the socket to the hi-fi device. This means that the supply line from the wall socket and from the power strip or power station to the hi-fi / high-end system plays a very important role. For these reasons, we have developed the AC-1204 AIR MKII. It is based on the legendary Air technology, which we have already used in the LS-4004 AIR or LS-2404-AIR speaker cables, for example, and which has caused a sensation in the high-end scene worldwide. The specially developed clips keep the individual conductors at fixed distances and insulate them from each other using air. The “air dielectric” ensures low capacitance between the conductors. The multicore structure compensates for the interference and magnetic fields caused by the current peaks. As a result, the line inductance is extremely minimized. In addition, the skin effect is greatly reduced by the large number of individual conductors. This is caused by the steep current edges associated with high frequencies. By distributing the current over many cores, the actual usable conductor cross-section is increased in addition to the general increase in the overall cross-section. Thanks to these technical refinements, the AC-1204 AIR MKII mains connection cable is able to supply the components with energy with ease, even during extremely dynamic passages, so that their potential can fully unfold. As soon as electrical energy is transported, electromagnetic interference fields inevitably arise. To avoid this, the AIR cables are shielded with a dense braid of tinned copper. This protects the neighboring audio components and cables in particular from radiated interference fields caused by the high current peaks in the power cable. Die Air-Helix-Konstruktion des Referenz Digital-2404 ist absolut einzigartig. Um der perfekten Luftisolation so nahe wie möglich zu kommen haben wir einen speziellen Clip entwickelt. Im Kabelinnern bildet eine Vielzahl dieser Clips das tragende Gerüst, welches die Signalleiter helixförmig frei in der Luft hält und sie in defi niertem Abstand durch die Abschirmung führt. Die Flexibilität dieses Konstrukts wird über zwei Stege erreicht, welche die Clips gleichermaßen zusammen und präzise auf Abstand halten. Bei koaxialen Kabeln wird üblicherweise die Abschirmung gleichzeitig als Masseleiter verwendet. Das Referenz Digital 2404 hingegen ist doppelsymmetrisch aufgebaut und besitzt zwei Plus- und zwei Minusleiter. Somit verläuft die Abschirmung vollständig getrennt und das Signal bleibt frei von Störungen. Auch wenn es paradox erscheinen mag: Dank der innovativen Luftisolation wird High Fidelity mit diesem Kabel zum schlichtweg atemberaubenden Klangerlebnis.

Musik ist stets sehr dynamisch und erzeugt bei der Wiedergabe einen sehr impulsiven Stromverbrauch an Vollverstärkern ,Endstufen oder Aktivlautsprechern. Durch diese rasch ändernden Stroman- und abstiege entstehen extreme Stromspitzen, welche starke Magnetfelder sowie Störausstrahlungen erzeugen und zu Leistungsverlusten an Leitungs- und Übergangswiderständen führen. Aber auch solche Stromspitzen müssen den Komponenten ohne Verzögerungen und verlustfrei zugeführt werden, da jeder gehemmte Stromfluss, egal an welcher Stelle innerhalb der HiFi- / High End-Kette, einen negativen Einfluss auf den Klang hat. Wie aus der Physik bekannt ist, besitzen elektrische Leiter nicht nur einen Widerstand sonder auch kapazitive und induktive Eigenschaften, die den Energiefluss von der Steckdose zum Hifi-Gerät stören. Somit spielt die Zuleitung von der Wandsteckdose und von der Steckdosenleiste bzw. der Powerstation hin zu der HiFi- / High End-Anlage eine sehr wichtige Rolle. Aus diesen Gründen haben wir das AC-4004 AIR entwickelt. Es basiert auf der legendären Air Technologie, die wir z.B. bereits bei den Lautsprecherkabeln LS-4004 AIR oder LS-2404-AIR angewendet haben und die in der High End Szene weltweit für Aufsehen gesorgt hat. Durch die speziell entwickelten Clips werden die einzelnen Leiter auf fest definierten Abständen gehalten und mittels Luft voneinander isoliert. Das „Luft-Dielektrikum“ sorgt dabei für geringe Kapazitäten zwischen den Leitern. Der Multicore-Aufbau kompensiert die durch die Stromspitzen entstehenden Stör- und Magnetfelder. Dadurch wird die Leitungsinduktivität extrem minimiert. Zusätzlich wird der Skin-Effekt durch die große Anzahl an Einzeladern stark reduziert. Dieser entsteht durch die steilen Stromflanken, mit denen hohe Frequenzen einhergehen. Durch die Aufteilung des Stroms auf viele Adern wird neben der generellen Erhöhung des Gesamtquerschnitts, der tatsächlich nutzbare Leiterquerschnitt erweitert. Dank dieser technischen Finessen ist das AC-4004 AIR Netzanschlusskabel in der Lage die Komponenten selbst bei extrem dynamischen Passagen souverän mit Energie zu versorgen, sodass sich deren Potential voll entfalten kann. Sobald elektrische Energie transportiert wird, entstehen zwangsweise elektromagnetische Störfelder. Um dies zu vermeiden, sind die AIR-Kabel mit einem dichten Geflecht aus verzinntem Kupfer abgeschirmt. Dieses schützt vor allem die benachbarten Audiokomponenten und Kabel vor abstrahlenden Störfeldern, die durch die hohen Stromspitzen im Stromkabel verursacht werden. Die vielen Besonderheiten der AIR-Netzanschlusskabel wirken also allen unerwünschten Effekten extrem entgegen und machen sie zu dem was sie sind: herausragende Energie-Pipelines für perfekte audiophile Klänge.
